POSITION OVERVIEW: 

The position is located in Oklahoma City, OK in support of the U.S. Airforce.

 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Provide instruction, in accordance with applicable DoD, USSOCOM, Air Force and ANG instructions to meet USAF proficiency and qualification standards on Air Force-administered written examinations and flight evaluations for preparatory courses, initial qualification (basic, instrument, mission), transition (conversion, requalification), upgrade qualification (instructor, aircraft commander, special mission, evaluator, dual qualification of sensor operators), and key staff, continuation, refresher course, etc. training as required to meet the On-Time Graduation and annual student throughput requirements.
  • Ensure syllabus tasks are 100% complete within the time specified for the lesson.
  • Provide Scenario Development (simulator and flight) as required to meet the requirements of this contract. 
  • Develop and lead complex mission scenarios to include playing multiple role players.
  • Support instruction of the 137 SOW Instrument Refresher Course (IRC) with qualified IRC instructor pilots.
  • Support instruction of the Crew Resource Management Course (CRM) with qualified CRM instructors.  
  • Be qualified, or become qualified, as an NVG Academic and Visual Threat  Recognition Avoidance Trainer (VTRAT) Instructor.
  • Track, using the Government provided Training Management System (TMS), and submit a weekly report of lost/incomplete training events and or downtime for Government review.
  • Work as a Team toward a common goal of producing qualified aircrew members as well as conducting continuation training. This may require working with other on-site contracting companies.
  • Execute the requirements of this contract and shall accommodate the variations in student and incomplete crew arrivals. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education & Experience 

  • Possess FAA Commercial Pilot or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and the appropriate category and class ratings; 1,000 MP hours (all aircraft flown) and 300 in similar type aircraft.
  • Instructor candidates who were instructor qualified in the MC-12 and were current in U.S. military aircraft within the previous two years OR
  • Instructors formerly instructor qualified [CSO: in tactical ISR platform, to include AC-130] within the previous four (4) years if the following conditions are met at the time of hiring:
    • the candidate performed eight (8) years of military operational flying duty
    • at least two (2) years or 200 hours experience as an inflight instructor in the proposed MDS and associated mission sets  
    • In lieu of MC-12 qualification, SOF-experienced Pilots with BE-300 type-rating with Proline 21 differences certification are acceptable

 

Other Requirements 

    • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance.
