POSITION OVERVIEW: 

The position is located in Oklahoma City, OK 

 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Scheduling support for all academic, MTD, static aircraft, flight line, & any range support requirements; Schedule training events on a daily, weekly, or as needed basis utilizing available resources
  • Use current scheduling tools utilized by the 137 SOW flying unit. Examples of tools used may include Patriot Excalibur (PEX) and GDSS
  • Develop efficient solutions to meet site specified changes to scheduling requirements, systems, & integration requirements
  • Coordinate w/other military units for supported training
  • Deliver a Lost / Incomplete training events report & other student production reports as required in a gov't approved format
  • Utilize on-site operating instructions to conduct academic and flightline scheduling (flight training sorties/missions)
  • Maintain student schedules to meet a stable mission qualification schedule
  • Work in close concert w/unit personnel to track daily student training
  • Coordinate class schedules with room assignments for optimum use of buildings & equipment
  • Schedule contract/active duty/reserve instructors for training programs at their respective locations
  • Disseminate weekly schedules and make required changes (to include pushing schedules to students' EFBs if applicable)
  • Work in a dynamic flying training environment
  • Support operations management, to include functions related to current operations, scheduling &training (to include range/airspace scheduling)
  • Track daily student operations (classroom, MTD, etc scheduling/deconfliction)
  • Assist forecasting, developing, & coordinating with various internal & external agencies (such as the NGB) for the execution of the unit's classroom, ground, & flying schedule
  • Schedule non-training resource requirements for Distinguished Visitors, resource requirements for QA, Configuration Management, & other site functional areas requiring system time.
  • Generate daily & weekly resource schedules as directed, resolve student, instructor status as directed
  • Maintain a file of instructor qualifications to permit backup of each instructional position so that the normal leave, sickness, & other emergencies will have minimum impact on the training
  • Coordinate ECM ranges (if applicable), aircraft landing zone/airport usage, Austere refueling/FARP, & other potential flying-type requirements

Education & Experience

  • 3 years of unit level current aircrew training/operations scheduling or similar experience 

Other Requirements 

  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance
  •  

 Position is Contingent Upon Contract Award
